A Sickly Week

Carl had strep all week with fevers ranging from 100-105, scared the crap outta me and kept us home bound most of the week. We rearranged the living room this weekend, making it much more open. Moved the TV downstairs so we're less tempted to watch during the day. The boys love all the room they have upstairs now! They can run from their bedroom, all the way down the hall and to the far side of the living room. I see this as an excellent energy buster on rainy days. Here are a few random pictures, a few are from my phone and rather pixely, so I apologize for that. I also apologize for the amount of drool in the one video, wowie that was gross!
What an ADORABLE little suit! The Target little boys section is a wonderful place to window shop. So many cute things.
Hey there cutie patootie

My new favorite photo of Eli

A child of many silly faces

I know, I know

This is our squirrat, rarrel? Ratsquirrel. Not set on a name yet...

His tail is missing all the fur. I thought it was a huge rat before I was able to look at it through the camera's zoom.

Looks more squirrely here

Kinda rattish now

What do you think? Was he in an accident or is it a new breed of animal?

Blocks!

I love that the boys enjoy these blocks as much as I did when I was their age.

I'm gonna eat this tower!!!

It fell!

Lemme try this one

CRASH!

It's ok, I wanted this one in the middle anyway

Yummmmm

Rainbow Park!

The boys had dentist appointments in Harrisonburg and we stopped by the playground on the way home. This playground is close to the dentist and also wasn't too far from my midwife. Jordan would take the boys there during my appointments with Eli. Anywho, it was my first time there and it was an awesome place! So many play areas set up for all ages and abilities.

Giant stationary pogo stick
Hi Eli!

They had some balance bikes out for people to use, the boys had a blast riding them all around.

Come to my ice cream stand Jack!

We have popsicles and milk shakes and ice cream, what would you like?

And now it's time for the news.
We are joined by our field reporter Carl.

These seats spun around. I needed to feed Eli, so I told the boys they would have to spin each other.

Wheee!

My turn, my turn!

What

is
going on? (I like his little fingers in these pictures, he's quite tactile)

Ye-haw!

Yipee ki yay!

Hello everyone!

Spotlight on Elijah

"Hey Mom, I got Eli!"
Such a good, patient cat. She sits so nicely while Eli "pats" her, grabs her, yanks at her hair, and screeches. She moves out of his reach if it gets too much and besides one warning hiss/clawless swipe, she's not lost her temper with him.

Eli got to swing for the first time! Our playground has a swing where it has the baby swing attached in front of a regular swing so you can swing with your baby and watch them and be within arms reach too. Eli wasn't too sure what to think. This is the only picture I got before my camera battery died.

Look at what I can do!

See? I'm closer to you now!

Hey Ma
Can I have that camera!

Gimme that camera!

Heeeyyyyy

No big deal, just sitting up.

HAAA!

These boys got some haircuts and were sooooo full of themselves afterwards!

They look so old! What happened to my babies???
