National Corvette Museum

Matthew getting excited & taking pictures of signs, there are more...  heh
Sign on the way to the plant, we were too late for a tour
So excited!
There's a Corvette in the parking lot!!!

Penny presses are not to be ignored, especially those shaped like juke boxes

This is my kind of car

If only there was a way to type out a wolf whistle (for the car, not the statue)
These statues kinda creeped me out

Love those curves!

Smart guy

Oops, dropped it
No Cawool, no
Playing with the camera settings
Heeeey, I was playing with that!

Do you see what I see?  Let's pull the branch back a bit...

Little drummer boys
What a sight to wake up to!  Jack now knows how to say snow.  snowsnowsnowsnowsnowsnowsnowsnooooow
Best sight I have seen in a loooong time.  The doorbell chimed and this was leaning by the front door.  Best. Thing. Ever.  A surprise gift of Virginia grown Pink Lady apples from Saunders Brothers Orchard.  So sweet & delicious, made my year right there.  A little taste of home.
Who's that reaching for my apples?
Hey!  Jack loves him some apples
Don't drop it!
Yummm...
I sliced his apple up and while chewing a slice he reached in the box & grabbed a new apple and took a bite.  Had to hide them in the laundry room.  :-)  I know what I'm having for breakfast & snack & elevensies & tea & second breakfast and and and

Saturday Statues

The boys had their picture taken today and the photo studio was in a super swanky shopping center.  I should have saved the hours spent in yelling child and irritated parents hell and taken pictures by the decorations
Doesn't the reindeer look like it's open to a conversation?

There were fun statues tucked everywhere.  We only went to a small section of the place, but I want to go back & explore.
Those are some big balls
Jack was loving this train but it was $3 for kids and $2 for adults, way too much for a less than 5 minute ride.  He had fun waving at it as it went by though.
These were real pretty & sparkly, I couldn't capture that though.  :-(
It's an elf!

Jack was fascinated by the coins in the fountain.  I gave him one to throw in and he would have thrown everything he could find if we hadn't pulled him away

Hi doggie!  patpat
